Songwriters are very important to the music industry. They are the intelligent minds behind most of the hits. Today we talk to a particularly successful artist. Ali Ciwanro is 20 years old and is one of the best songwriters in the world.

Interviewer: So Ali, first let's talk about some personal things. You've often said that the last few months have been the worst of your life. Can you tell us more about that?

Ali Ciwanro: Of course, although it is not easy for me. In terms of my career, everything went perfectly. I earn a lot of money, I am extremely popular and I've taken my art to the next level, but in my private life it's quite different.

Interviewer: That sounds really tough. Can you go into more detail and tell us what's going wrong?

Ali Ciwanro: To be honest, I don't know where to start. Financially, as I said, everything is going great. The people who follow me as a public figure are very happy with me. However, the whole thing looks different with my family. We have drifted apart and I am at odds with most members of my family.

Interviewer: That's probably the last thing you want. How does this affect you, or to be more precise, how do you feel that this is stressing you so much?

Ali Ciwanro: I have been suffering from severe depression since I was 14 years old, sometimes more sometimes less. Lately, I've been going through a harder phase again. I was in therapeutic treatment for a long time and took certain medications. Now, unfortunately, I feel worse again. In the last few months I have also had suicidal thoughts from time to time. Another thing I could mention is that I have gained a lot of weight, which puts additional strain on me.

Interviewer: Sounds terrible. What are you doing about it?

Ali Ciwanro: It's not as bad as it sounds since I can handle these thoughts by now. As for the other problem I can say that I am in the process of losing weight. Somehow the whole thing also has something good. As strange as it sounds. I'm more creative in terms of my art when I'm feeling bad. Dunno why.

Interviewer: I understand. Thank you for the interview and your honest answers. We wish you continued success and a speedy recovery.

Ali Ciwanro: No problem. It was fun.
