WASHINGTON D.C.: This week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) said that from September 25, it will again deliver COVID-19 tests for free to households nationwide.
Through the "COVIDTests.gov" website, U.S. households can order four free tests, which can detect currently circulating COVID-19 variants and are intended for use through the end of 2023, the agency added.
The agency also announced an investment of US$600 million in 12 domestic COVID-19 test manufacturers.
