LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday said Charlie Kirk, co-founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, is dead after being shot on the same day during an event at Utah Valley University.

"No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie," said Trump in a post on his Truth Social platform.
