Vince Covello withdrew from the Bank of Utah Championship prior to the start of the second round on Friday.
PGA Tour Communications did not provide a reason for Covello's withdrawal at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah
Covello fired a 10-over-par 81 after the first round to reside 16 strokes behind co-leaders David Lipsky, Sweden's Jesper Svensson and Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen.
Covello, 42, has yet to win on the PGA Tour.
